What is Katharsis.am?
Katharsis.am is an independent design and creative studio based in Yerevan, Armenia. Our areas are brand strategy and visual identity, website and interface design, and creative direction.
Do I need a logo or a full identity?
A logo is one identifying element. A full identity also establishes typography, colour, graphic elements and rules for applying them. The right scope depends on where the brand will appear and which materials already exist.
How do I choose between a designer and a studio?
Look at the work, relevant experience, communication and scope, rather than the label alone. Ask who will work on the project, how feedback is handled and what the final handover includes. A clear fit matters more than a broad promise.
What determines the price and timeline?
The number of deliverables, complexity, available content, review stages and production requirements. Share these with your target date and budget range. A proposal can then define the scope, stages and timing; there is no single price that fits every project.
What should a design brief contain?
Describe the business, audience, problem, desired outcome, required materials, deadline and decision maker. Add existing brand files and references with a short explanation. You can send this through the contact page without preparing a long presentation.
Can a website look different on mobile?
Yes. Responsive design can change layout, spacing, navigation and image framing for each screen while keeping the identity consistent. Important information and actions should remain accessible in every version.
Which images should I send for a project?
Send the original, highest-quality files available, with their intended use and any restrictions. Screenshots or social-media downloads may have lost detail. For logos, include the vector original if you have it. Confirm that the materials can be used for the project.
Can AI-generated images be used in design?
AI images can be useful for visual exploration, but the result still needs review for relevance, consistency, detail and permitted use. A generated image is not automatically a complete identity or a production-ready asset. Our AI and design guide explains what to check.
Is the Katharsis atelier open to everyone?
The atelier is a separate experimental workspace with password-protected access. The public studio website and contact page are open. An atelier password does not provide access to the website administration.
